Our opinion on the cuvée
This wine, with its slightly golden hue, evolves into a beautiful pale gold over time. On the nose, mineral notes intertwine with fresh fruit aromas, offering a very pleasant sensation of freshness. On the palate, its vibrancy is revealed through citrus and dried fruit aromas, providing a fresh and fruity tasting experience. Perfectly paired with fish in sauce or shellfish, it will enhance your meals, bringing a touch of conviviality and enjoyment.
For eleven generations, the Reverdy family has carried on a winemaking tradition in Verdigny, in the heart of the Sancerre region, guided by a deep conviction: wine is first and foremost a story of terroir, patience, and passing down the craft. Jean-Marie Reverdy, driven by his calling, cultivates 39 hectares alongside his wife Catherine and his sons Guillaume and Baptiste—the Domaine de la Villaudière.
A very traditional estate in Sancerre and Pouilly that nonetheless produces wines of exceptional quality. In blind tastings, Reverdy’s wines consistently rank first among our appellation selections. A sure bet, rooted in an exceptional family history.
