Moderato was born from a simple idea: to allow enjoyment of wine and its traditions without the constraint of alcohol. The project caters to both those who wish to reduce their consumption and those for whom alcohol is not an option, whether for personal, cultural, or health reasons.

Founded in 2020 by Fabien and Sébastien, Moderato winery leverages genuine viticultural expertise. The wines are crafted from carefully selected grape varieties in Gascony and the Southwest, involving extensive upstream collaboration with winemakers. Time, tasting, and blending are central to the process, with a constant pursuit of balance, texture, and aromatic precision.

Moderato's cuvées advocate an approach that respects terroirs and raw materials. Each alcohol-free wine is conceived as a faithful interpretation of its grape variety, offering an authentic, structured, and expressive experience, without attempting to artificially imitate classic wine.

Committed to sustainable viticulture, the winery pays particular attention to soil health, water management, and the preservation of biodiversity. The partner winemakers also prioritize the use of biomass and the recycling of byproducts from the vineyard and winery, as part of a responsible and consistent production approach.
