Team Review
This Palooza red wine is a true delight for the palate. The nose reveals fruity and indulgent aromas reminiscent of ripe red berries. On the palate, the texture is supple and pleasant, offering a lovely roundness. Towards the end of the tasting, a subtle hint of spice elegantly enhances the overall profile, adding a touch of complexity. Perfect for pairing with duck à l'orange or fine charcuterie.

Aubert & Mathieu

Aubert & Mathieu

Languedoc | France

In Languedoc, the Aubert & Mathieu project is led by Jean-Charles and Anthony, with the objective of offering accessible, clear wines that align with current consumption trends. Their work is based on selecting grapes from various sectors of Languedoc, chosen for their ability to produce balanced and expressive profiles.

The cuvées prioritize expressions centered on fruit, freshness, and drinkability, with vinifications conducted to preserve aromatic clarity and supple structures. Extractions remain moderate, and aging is adapted to each wine without seeking overt oak influence, in order to maintain direct and approachable profiles.

The project is part of a committed approach, featuring certified organic wines and a focus on production conditions. Aubert & Mathieu also advocates for a holistic reflection on environmental impact and model consistency, notably materialized by B Corp certification.

The entire range of cuvées offers a straightforward and contemporary interpretation of the Languedoc vineyard, featuring precise, accessible, and consistent wines, designed for unpretentious enjoyment without compromising on quality.
