Our opinion on the vintage

This red wine boasts a beautiful red color and an intense nose of raspberry and blackcurrant. On the palate, the attack is smooth thanks to its silky tannins, offering a pleasant texture. Perfect to accompany roast goose or lamb chops, this wine will subtly seduce your palate. Enjoy it now or cellar it for up to 5 years; it will reveal its full potential at a serving temperature between 18 and 19°C.

Perreau Estate

Domaine de Perreau

Loire | France

Located in Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne, on the hills overlooking the Dordogne valley, Domaine de Perreau is now run by Gaëlle Reynou-Gravier, who took over the family estate in 2013. She represents a new generation at the head of a property passed down through several generations.

The vineyard covers approximately 20 hectares, spread across well-exposed hillsides, favorable for the gradual ripening of the grapes. The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture, with Terra Vitis certification, aiming to reconcile respect for the soil, the plants, and consistent quality. Cultivation practices seek to preserve the balance of the vineyard while enhancing local specificities.

Domaine de Perreau produces several appellations from the Southwest, notably Bergerac, Côtes de Montravel, and Montravel, as well as an IGP Périgord wine. The wines are crafted with the aim of faithfully reflecting the terroirs of this transition zone between Bordeaux and Périgord, prioritizing aromatic precision and structural balance.
