Expert Opinion
The wine has a straw-yellow color. On the nose, aromas of peach, lemon, and white flowers stand out clearly. On the palate, it has a round texture with delicate notes of honey, white flowers, and citrus. This wine evokes freshness and sweetness, making it perfect for pairing with roasted sea bass with cherry tomatoes or a vegetarian ratatouille. Best served between 8 and 10°C, this wine has an aging potential of 2 years.

Vignobles Francois Lurton

Veneto | Italy

At the foot of the Quéribus cliff in Roussillon, Mas Janeil is the most personal expression of François Lurton—the fifth generation of a family that has become one of France’s leading wine producers. Situated on a geological fault line that creates an exceptional diversity of soils (granite, limestone, schist), 30 hectares of vineyards cultivated using practices close to biodynamics produce structured, sometimes unconventional wines in which freshness and texture take center stage.

The Lurton family, originally from the Bordeaux region, went on to develop vineyards in South America. In our selection, it is their Italian, Chilean, and Argentine wines that have won us over—a testament to their expertise in adapting to radically different terroirs.
