Famille Hauller

The Green Bear 2024

Alsace | White | 2024

La Cave du Tonnelier, a family business in Dambach la Ville since 1776, is distinguished by its expertise passed down through generations. Brothers Ludovic and Guillaume Hauller perpetuate this tradition by producing a dry, elegant, and precise Riesling with characteristic mineral notes. Guillaume's love of the land and Ludovic's passion for promoting wines make this cuvée a must-try for Alsatian wine lovers.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine has a luminous, pale gold color. The nose reveals elegant and delicate aromas of citrus and white flowers. On the palate, the attack is lively with a refreshing acidity that adds vibrancy. The mid-palate offers a lovely volume, with lingering floral notes. The finish is characterized by freshness and fruitiness, supported by a balanced acidity. A wine that will pair beautifully with seafood or Alsatian sauerkraut.

This orientation marked a lasting turning point in the estate's identity, which is now carried by Ludovic and Guillaume Hauller, representatives of the twelfth family generation.

The work is divided between the vineyard and the promotion of the wines. The plots are carefully monitored to obtain ripe but balanced grapes, in a spirit of respect for the soil and natural rhythms. Alsatian grape varieties, and particularly Riesling, play a central role in the vineyard, with a constant search for freshness and aromatic ... Lire plus
