This red wine boasts a brilliant ruby color. On the nose, it reveals delightful aromas of red and black fruits. Located on the Cérons plateau, in the historic heart of Graves, Domaine du Salut has been run by Aurélia and Frédéric since 2015. The vineyard lies on very well-draining sandy-gravelly soils, remnants of an ancient tributary of the Garonne, with a subsoil rich in nutrients and naturally high biological activity.
Upon their arrival, the couple initiated a structured environmental approach. White grape parcels are covered with grass (oats, vetch, clover) to enrich the soil with organic matter and promote natural nitrogen input, contributing to the aromatic development of the grapes. No herbicides are used: soil cultivation prioritizes traditional mechanical practices, adapted to the nature of each parcel. The estate was certified Terra Vitis in 2015, then converted to organic farming starting in 2020.
